The mission of the School Council is to foster the mission of the school and further enhance student learning, student well-being and school community The mission of Glenmore Christian Academy is to educate children in a dynamic Christian environment dedicated to excellence in learning and life development.

The GCA School Council is a group of vibrant, devoted parents that come together monthly to offer suggestions, ideas, and advise to our beloved administrators. These meetings are used to guide the direction of our school and provide parent voice for areas of strength as well as areas of concern.  This is a great opportunity to come and build the community of parents at GCA as well as support our administrators in their role as leaders for our children.  The council is made up of Parents of children currently attending GCA, the School Administrators, GCA Educational Society Representative and teacher representatives from each division. The Chair, Vice-Chair and  Secretary are nominated by the larger parent body and elected at the annual AGM in May.  There are 30+ people in attendance each month. The monthly agenda and the minutes are posted on the GCA website. All parents are invited and encouraged to come, participate, and share their voice about our children’s education and the great opportunities that GCA offers.
